Juan Inoriza
Juan Inoriza is a lawyer specialising in international law, holding dual master’s degrees in Foreign Trade and International Relations. He is an international consultant, writer and visiting university lecturer, specialising in international affairs, global trade and business cultures. He studied Vietnamese Language and Culture, as well as Southeast Asian Culture, at the Vietnam National University.
With over three decades of experience living and working in Southeast Asia, he has developed a deep understanding of the region’s economic dynamics and sociocultural complexity. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with academic institutions, public bodies and multinational companies in areas such as foreign investment, international cooperation and strategic analysis.
Beyond his work as an analyst and consultant, his passion for the region and long-standing engagement with its communities have also led him to research and document local cultural expressions, social customs and oral traditions across Southeast Asia. This interest has resulted in numerous articles, essays and popular publications, and continues to inform various lines of work related to folk legends and fiction set in this fascinating part of the world.
His approach combines academic rigour with extensive field experience and a distinctive cultural sensitivity, offering a critical, contextualised and deeply human perspective on a region in constant transformation.
